We’ll start with what I was going to use as a fire tweet this morning, but forgot so here: Solange Knowles was just on SiriusXMU (the indie rock channel).  Are the Illuminati guest hosting or something?

What the hell is going on with this clown business?  Clowns.  CLOWNS.  CLOWNS!  I don’t know, it’s apparently a thing.

Romance & Rebellion have a new video out for “Vanity Fair”.  It’s the latest off the Los Angeles pop rockers’ self-titled debut EP, which TPS reviewed don’tcha know.

Chorus.fm tells us New Found Glory are back in the studio to work on the follow-up to 2014’s Resurrection.  Mazel tov!

Over at Alternative Press it’s the new Toy Story shoe line from Vans.  It looks like Pizza Planet might be among them, which you know *obligatory pop-punk pizza party reference because skate shoes*.

Also at AP, something something Bryan Stars apologizes something something.

Chart Attack has a cool look at POP Montreal, and how it manages to survive and thrive in a time where some think the Canadian festival bubble is bursting.

Silverstein want to know what your favourite recent release of theirs is.  You only have a day to vote, so go vote.  I wonder if there’s a reason they’re asking this hmmmmm???

Consequence of Sound has a stream of NOFX’s new album First Ditch Effort.  It’s out on Friday, with the site calling it the band’s “most painful and party-ready album to date”.  They’re also heading out on a North American tour that begins October 22nd in San Diego, California.

Finally, The Summer Rabbit have released their self-titled debut album.  Remember when we talked to them, you know, a week ago?  Check the release out on their Bandcamp.
